There are currently no open positions at The Australian Shakespeare Company, but please check back soon. Thank you for visiting!
The Australian Shakespeare Company is able to offer a range of internships throughout the year.
These will primarily be available to tertiary students, studying arts/performance. However we are able to consider applications from anyone who is interested in gaining knowledge and experience in the industry.
Primarily based in Melbourne for the 2018/19 season, there will also be opportunities to join our team in Sydney through to April 2019.
Internships will be available during the creative development, rehearsal and presentations of productions and may be in the following areas:
- Front of House
- Stage Management
- Arts Administration
We like people to be able to take initiative, think on their feet, be hands on and care about the result of what they are working on. As such, our interns need to commit to the full term of the placement, noting that each internship will be for a different length of time. Also please note that these are not paid positions, nor do we need payment for the positions.
We encourage you to contact Australian Shakespeare Company on firstname.lastname@example.org. Please provide one page outlining your experience, describe the position/role you are interested in and attach a one page CV.
