Jake Crawford

Jake Crawford is an actor based in Naarm (Melbourne). His recent credits include Martius/Second Goth in Titus Andronicus (Th’Unguarded Duncan), and Duke Theseus in AMN Dream (Aus. Shakespeare Company Graduate Players). He has also toured with the Flying Bookworm Theatre Company, performing as both Macbeth and Romeo among many other roles. Jake is a founding member of SLAY Theatre, in which he produced and performed in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged and starred as Benedick in the company's debut production of Much Ado About Nothing.


Jake also works for GJ Productions, directing high school students in their extra-curricular musicals, as well as being a workshop facilitator with Drama Victoria. Jake has trained extensively in dramatic combat with Captivate Action and has recently received his foundation qualification for both SAFDi and BADC certifications. He has also trained with Iain Sinclair at 16th Street, honing his craft in both classical and contemporary acting techniques. Additionally, Jake has trained with Les Chantery and Damian Walshe-Howling.
