Road Closure – 3 Feb 2019 – Birdwood Avenue

On Sunday 3rd February 2019, the Jayco Herald Sun Tour professional cycling race will conduct a circuit race in Melbourne. The course will be around the Royal Botanical Gardens, starting and finishing on Birdwood Ave between Domain Rd & Dallas Brook Drive. This impacts access to the performance site for Broadway Unplugged

6:30pm – Course Reopened
8:00pm – Birdwood Ave Reopened

Tow Away Zones will be installed to ensure safety of all competitors and to allow local residential access during
the event period. The Tow Away Zone will be implemented from 12:00am through to 6:30pm on Sunday 3rd
February along sections of Domain Rd, Birdwood Ave, Dallas Brook Dr & Anderson St as per the below and also
indicated on the map overleaf.

o Anderson St between Alexandra Ave and Domain Rd
o Domain Rd between Anderson St and Park St
o Birdwood Ave between Dallas Brook Dr and Domain Rd
o Dallas Brooks Dr between Domain Rd and Birdwood Ave
o Domain Rd between Dallas Brooks Dr and End of Road (Metro Tunnel Works Permanent Road Closure)
