About the Program
Spring into the chaos of Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors — a play built entirely on wrong turns and mistaken identity. With this as our playground we’ll be in double trouble, thinking fast and playing BIG. Forget trying to be perfect! Through improvisation, clowning, mime, and physical comedy games, performers will be exploring the art of getting it wrong!
We’ll build up some fearless instincts, sharpen ensemble trust and turn hesitation into bold and committed choices, then channel all of it into staging a short version of the play where every “error” becomes part of the fun. Bring your silliest-self and leave sensible at the door.
The workshop will culminate in a showcase on the final day at 2pm, where friends and family will be invited to witness the chaos, we mean, our play-in-a-week.
