Cozy up during your Winter school holidays for one week with Shakespeare’s stirring tragedy, Romeo and Juliet. Two households clash in a passionate and fateful tale. This workshop will delve into settings and character motivations steeped in intense emotion and conflict. Through engaging drama exercises and games, participants will explore key scenes of Romeo and Juliet and, by the week’s end, perform their own interpretations of this timeless and heartrending play. With professional actors guiding the process, young performers will master techniques for learning lines, developing nuanced characters, refining physical and vocal expression, and experimenting with form, style, and adaptation.
