Pack the Kids, Pack a Picnic and Come to the Jungle this Summer!
A fun-filled, energetic outdoor musical adventure that invites you to join in the action. Baloo and Mowgli meet again several years after Mowgli has left the jungle. Together, through original songs, Mowgli’s life is brought to life. Witness the exciting escapades growing up in the jungle with Bagheera, Kaa, Shere Khan, the cheeky Monkeys and the Jackal. This is an outdoor theatre show full of surprises and great interactive fun.
The Jungle Book, The Next Chapter will keep you returning to the jungle every summer. This production takes place in the gardens of Vaucluse House, so please be sure to pack your sunscreen and a picnic for the entire family!

Jungle Book ticket holders receive two for one tickets to Vaucluse House pre or post show. Ticket holders will need to present their sticker to gain entry. Please contact Vaucluse House for more information.
This performance takes place in the gardens of Vaucluse House. Please come prepared, with a hat and picnic rug!

As our performances take place outside we do not have hearing assistance. Only trained service animals will be permitted on site.

It’s up to you! Pack a picnic, bring a blanket, cushions, or seat to sit on.
The Jungle Book, The Next Chapter takes place on the beautiful surroundings of The Vaucluse House Gardens so don’t forget your sunscreen. We look forward to welcoming your family there!

Bus & Train
The 325 bus from Sydney CBD and Edgecliff station stops outside our gates. The bus trip from Edgecliff station takes about 20 minutes.
You can also take bus 324 (from Sydney CBD or Edgecliff) to Vaucluse shops, and then it’s a 10-minute walk down a signposted public walkway to Vaucluse House.
Routes 324 and 325 operate to and from Barangaroo and Walsh Bay. Buses will operate as normal to and from Hyde Park, then via Druitt Street, Kent Street, Napoleon Street and Hickson Road to Walsh Bay.
These services no longer operate to St James, Martin Place or Circular Quay. You can change at the corner of Park and Elizabeth streets for buses to Circular Quay, or alight at the corner of Park and George streets for trains at Town Hall.

There is free parking in the grounds from 7am to 5pm. See below for drop-off and parking arrangements for people with disabilities.
This is a popular area for cyclists, but note that coming from the CBD involves riding up the infamous ‘Heartbreak Hill’ of New South Head Road. We have signposted bike racks in the car park where you can chain your bike.
You are very welcome to bring a hamper of all your favourite goodies.
Please remember to pick up all your rubbish and use the bins provided.
Our productions take place outdoors and there is no cover. Please consider bringing a hat, coat, blanket, sunscreen and a water bottle when attending. (Please note that umbrellas cannot be raised during performance times).
Dressing up is optional and encouraged for all our shows!
